Muirfield

Stub — to fill in. Laid out by Old Tom Morris in 1891 for the Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers (16 holes, extended to 18); later remodelled by Harry Colt into the famous two-loop "clockwise then anticlockwise" routing. Regular Open Championship host.

The Course

Par 71 links; the concentric routing kills any prevailing wind's advantage.
