Lundin Golf Club¶
The eastern half of the original Leven links ground, split from Leven Links in 1909 and given new holes by James Braid. A classic layout split by an old railway line: an inland-ish front nine, then a true links back nine along the Firth of Forth. The first five holes run out to the Mile Dyke in classic links tradition; the par-3 14th "Perfection" got its name from Braid himself.

The Course¶
Par 71, 6,371 yds. Founded 1868 on ground originally laid out by Tom Morris; James Braid designed the 1909 holes when the course divided from Leven. Regular Open Championship Final Qualifying venue. The par-3 14th "Perfection" — Braid's own name for it — drops downhill with a panoramic view of the whole course; the 320-yard par-4 16th "Trows" is the original Leven 7th, copied by C.B. Macdonald as the "Leven" template hole at the National Golf Links of America.
History¶
1868 (founding); 1909 (split from Leven, Braid holes). Permanent venue of the East of Scotland Amateur Championship since 1973; Open Final Qualifying whenever the Open comes to St Andrews. NCG Top 100s Scotland #10. Named holes: 4 "Mile Dyke", 14 "Perfection", 16 "Trows", 18 "Home".
